4to (28,7 x 23 cm), two volumes, bound, both wrappers illustrated with the same composition by Marie Laurencin, heightened with pochoir, the slipcase bears a label with the printed title.
First edition. The first volume includes : a portrait of Nijinska and a text by Jean Cocteau, a portrait of Francis Poulenc by Marie Laurencin, a text of Darius Milhaud, a page of score of Francis Poulenc and 14 drawings and paintings of Marie Laurencin heightened with stencil. The second volume, subtitled "Réalisation scénique" includes: a portrait of Marie Laurencin by Man Ray and 23 photographs of the dancers  in Monte-Carlo by Georges Detaille. Justification pages with the copy number. Text printed by Frazier-Soye and plates printed by Léon Marotte and Daniel Jacomet in Paris. Edition : 60 copies printed on Hollande van Gelder, numbered from 1 to 60 + 200 copies printed on Arches wove paper, numbered from 61 to 260 + LXXV (75) copies Hors Commerce printed on Arches wove paper, numbered from I to LXXV ; here copy n° XXVII (27) from the Hors Commerce. Reference : Monod n° 1552. Condition : the slipcase is in bad condition (as often), otherwise the two volumes are in very good condition.
