Text by Alain Robbe-Grillet, illustrated with dry-point in frontispiece and 10 original etchings (unsigned) in black by Paul Delvaux, all hors-texte. Each etching accompanies one of the book ten chapters. The page on which appears the number of the copy bears the signatures in pencil by the author and the artist. Text printed by Fequet et Baudier and etchings printed by Crommelynck in Paris. Edition : in total 187 copies as followed : 30 copies for the Deluxe edition (numbered from 1 to 30) with a suite of the eleven etchings signed in pencil by the artist, 150 copies (numered from 31 to 150), XXX copies hors commerce and 5 copies, all printed on Arches wove paper with the publisher's watermark ; here copy n° 113. In addition 40 suites have been printed with wide margins, signed by the artist. Reference : Mira Jacob n° 81 to 91. In mint condition.
