Le livre « Adam » par Waldemar George et Ionel Jianou a été publié en 1968 par Arted, Editions d’Art à Paris. Après divers témoignages rendu à Adam et une étude sur la vie et l’œuvre de l’artiste, l’ouvrage propose, par I. Jianou, le catalogue raisonné des sculptures d’Henri Georges Adam. L’auteur répertorie 170 références, dont 17 maquettes : bois, bronze, plâtre, pierre, béton, acier, terre chamotée, plaque de cuivre découpée, marbre, granit. Les références 171 à 182 concernent les médailles réalisées par l’artiste. Les préoccupations d’Adam ont porté sur trois voies principales : la création de nouveaux rapports entre la sculpture et l’architecture, la réalisation de grands ensembles monumentaux en plein air, la mutation des formes organiques en valeurs plastiques.
