Right from the start (1936), Aimé Maeght produced, in close cooperation with artists, catalogues, reviews or books. After the famous review "Pierre à Feu", creates in 1944 and which will be directed by Jacques Kober, the Editions Aime Maeght imagines the review "Derrière le Miroir" which the nº1 is published in 1946 (there will be 250 of them). This prestigious review will appear with the liking of the exposures and, obviously, the largest artists of the XXº century will take part in it : Picasso, Braque, Chagall, Matisse, Miro, Matisse, mais aussi Chillida, Palazuelo, Tapiès, Calder, Giacometti, Pierre Alechinsky, the brothers Van Velde and others still. Several numbers, to different times, were devoted to such or such artist. Often composed of original lithographs, until in 1970 printed mainly in the Mourlot Atelier, then by the Atelier of lithography and engraving of the Foundation Maeght (Saint-Paul de Vence), these reviews represent a prestigious sum of the art of the XXº century.
