Le Catalogue Raisonné de l’œuvre graphique d’Alberto Giacometti – « The complete graphics » -, réalisé par Herbert C. Lust (1970) et complété par Alan Wofsy, a été publié par les Editions Alan Wofsy Fine Arts (San Francisco) en 1991. Les auteurs y répertorient près de 400 références, lithographies et gravures, y compris les œuvres sur papier imprimées dans le domaine du livre illustré, comme le véritable testament de l’artiste que constitue « Paris sans fin » et ces 150 lithographies, livre considéré par beaucoup comme l’un des plus beaux livres du XXème siècle. A l’époque de la première publication du catalogue raisonné (quatre ans après la mort de l’artiste), cette publication éclaira le fait que le sculpteur était l’un des maîtres incontestés de l’art graphique de son siècle. L’édition de 1991, présentée ici, fit découvrir 43 nouvelles œuvres par rapport à l’édition originale, ainsi que de nouvelles informations et autres corrections sur les œuvres présentées dans l’ouvrage original.
